Here at Tiny Steps Nursery Manchester, we provide a professional caring environment for children aged 0 to 5 years. In this supportive environment, your child will be able to learn and develop through play and creativity. Staff will work hand in hand with you to follow the EYFS curriculum to enable your child to progress and learn to the best of their ability. Along with supportive staff and this confidence building environment, your child will achieve the best start in life. We are a purpose built 95 place private day nursery and Pre-School made up of a large pre-school and baby room with 3 toddler rooms and 2 outdoor play areas. The main characteristics of our setting are that we are a small and friendly nursery with a happy atmosphere. We have good, positive relationships with all our parents. Our setting is very multi-cultural with a variety of children from different ethnic backgrounds with culturally diverse staff members.
We are always interested in your ideas, concerns and your support. Communication with parents is critical to our nursery. We seek to form a partnership with you to ensure your child’s and families’ individual needs and concerns are met.

Key Person

Each child will be allocated a member of staff known to the parent and child as your child’s “Key Person”.

PURPOSE OF THE EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a play-based curriculum for children from birth to five years, which allows children to explore and learn in an environment that is secure and safe, yet challenging. Play opportunities are non-stereotypical and available to all children promoting the teaching and learning from a skilled workforce.
